Invitation to the Chancellor's Colloquium October 30

Dear Colleagues:

I am pleased to invite you to the next Chancellor’s Colloquium, featuring a presentation by Dr. David Greenberg in the Department of Journalism & Media Studies in the School of Communication and Information and the Department of History in the School of Arts and Sciences.  His talk, “Republic of Spin,” focuses on the tools and techniques that American presidents have utilized to craft and hone their messages on their path to the White House.

The event will take place on Monday, October 30, from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the College Avenue Student Center, Multipurpose Room and Main Lounge.  The Chancellor’s Colloquium features talks by prominent members of our faculty from a variety of disciplinary perspectives, provides opportunities to meet colleagues from across New Brunswick, and may even lay the groundwork for future research collaborations.

From 4:00 p.m. on, there will be a chance to socialize with colleagues before Professor Greenberg’s talk, which begins promptly at 4:30 p.m.  Most importantly, we hope you will remain after the talk to enjoy some light refreshments and to chat with Professor Greenberg and the other attendees.

Please RSVP.  I look forward to seeing you on October 30.

Best regards,

Deba Dutta
Chancellor, Rutgers University–New Brunswick
